Is he talking about metaphorical walls, or actual walls?
    What is the context?

Two top candidates have the worst favorability ratings in history? Couldn't be because the candidates actually suck. No. Has to be because people are afraid someone might disagree.

    Happens every single election.

"I'm going to hold my nose when I press the red button!" and "Both of the candidates are trash, we're screwed!"

Rather than thinking it's to avoid what people think, why couldn't you imagine that no matter who the two candidates are, when there are only two candidates to pigeonhole everyone's support, some people will not find either candidate all that appealing.

It's the political funny pictures thread, not the Trump thread.

I posted it here for the irony. The humor. "The wall, big wall, 10 feet taller wall" vs "we build too many walls". That's the joke.

I didn't post it there for the actual argument of the thing.

Because if someone regularly espouses the views and policies of a candidate, yet they claim that candidate is horrible, there's not many conclusions left to draw.

I'm going to respond to this on the trump thread since it's become a discussion that has nothing to do with funny pictures.

I hope that dosent stop us from defeating Hillary, but alas, I expect my hopes to be dashed.

People that hate Trump enough to not vote for him aren't going to be the reason he loses. They are an insignificantly small number.

The reason Clinton will win is the choice of Trump as candidate.

I voted for McCain, I voted for Romney, I'll vote for Trump.

I was and am a member of the never Hillary crowd, also a member of the never Jeb crowd.

Watching the Hillary adds and hearing her rhetoric, she doesn't even have to lie. All she has to do is simply repeat what Trump said, and mention what he did. It's like Trump is running against himself. The people who participated in nominating Trump, have only themselves to blame for Hillary should she win. Trump just doesn't appeal to independents. Neither does Hillary for that matter, but Trump acting like Trump is what will put her in the White House.

I've never once espoused the policies or views of Hillary Clinton....who is the only candidate who's policies and views I can discern with any accuracy from day to day.

But if you don't vote for the chosen one, you love Hillary and want her to be your President.

    Because logic.

I'll probably vote for Mr. "say whatever I think people will like today". If for no other reason (and there probably is no other reason) other than I know what Hillary stands for and hate it. Not knowing what someone really stands for at least gives a possibility that they won't be for the same things....despite decades of outspoken support for Clinton.
