Ah, so no discussions about things on this discussion forum? I'm just sour grapes about our funds being held. With as many "don't go here ot there because guns aren't allowed threads" it's just odd that we accomodate paypal. Maybe it's hypocritical, or maybe it's just seeing clearly without a profit motive getting in the way now.
So because of your sour grapes you think INGO shouldn't take PayPal. Let the free market make that division for INGO not your sour grapes.

Very easy to accept credit cards online, and cheaper than paypal.

From which other source? I would be very interested to know this information.
Do those other sources allow for subscription based donations like PayPal does?

I never let funds sit in my paypal account. Why even give them the opportunity to hold/freeze your money?

This! I manage a PayPal account for an online gaming organization and we keep the bare min in PayPal (enough to pay the bills) and move everything else to a Chase Savings account which is NOT linked to the PayPal account. We have a Chase checking account again with bare min. linked to the PayPal account so that if PayPal attempts to pull from the linked account they get $1 and nothing else.

We learned the hard way 4 years ago about PayPal trying to take money from us that was linked to our offline account.

Do you post this on every thread where people say they were kicked out of a restaurant for carrying a gun? :n00b:

I empty the account several times a day, but since it's a weekend the funds never left since no ACH happens on non-banking days. This is why they were able to hold so much.

Paypal must be anti Native American because they don't accept transactions involving Native American artifacts.

As do many Native American objects, these masks raise an important question for all collectors of Native American objects: When is it legal for individuals to buy and sell, or even own, such Native American objects?
The question is a simple one, but its answer is complicated, requiring a careful reading of the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA). NAGPRA is a federal law passed in 1990 that provides a process for museums and federal agencies to return certain Native American "cultural items"—human remains, funerary objects, sacred objects, or objects of cultural patrimony—to lineal descendants or Indian tribes. Museums and federal agencies are almost always the ones challenged or prosecuted under the law.
The law, however, also forbids the buying and selling of these particular objects on the market—which is where the law applies to individual collectors.

seems more like them trying to avoid federal law issues. Perhaps that's the issue here too.

So we aren't allowed to voice our opinions? If nobody talks against it it would never be changed. Complaints are as big a part of the free market as sales are. Are we just supposed to sit there and take it when a product or service performs below our standards?
