Changed the plug wires and it seems to help a little more... didn't bother installing the new cap. The old one isn't terribly worn and has brass posts... the new one looks to be a fraudulent Ford part to me.. posts are aluminum and sure to erode faster than the brass ones.

Love the new sprayer! Just did all the flowerbeds out front, along both sides of the driveway, plus the weeds/grass in the cracks of the driveway, then all down the west side of the house, around the corner to the patio. Makes great pressure, easy to pump, and has a nice spray pattern.

That sun is hot though. Worked up quite a sweat for just basically walking around.

I wonder what caused the outage? There certainly wasn't any lighting in the area last night/this morning.
I wish I knew, but maybe not.
I've only seen/heard this a few times over the years but usually during a storm.

I was out last about 10PM. Murky skies, barely a breeze, nice night. Nothing to make me think it was weather related.

Almost had to be man caused. Something big got broken and the grid took a moment to auto redirect.
    Doubt I'm the only casualty.

Before we bought this house from Mom, she had bought a whole house surge protector but never got it installed. When we upgraded our service from 100 amp to 200 amp for the sanitary sewer connection and grinder pump, I had them install it. Hopefully it would prevent any damage to electronics if something similar happened here.
