Got the hanging baskets watered. Maybe we did get more rain than I thought. They weren't dried out like I thought they would be. Should be good until Sunday or Monday now.

Jalapeño and baby Swiss omelet with sliced tomatoes for breakfast. Actually got 15 min on the stationary boat this morning. Now for a relax and some coffee until Barb gets up.

In the deep south, checking the river after a big rain meant no fishing pole, but a rifle.
Just in case you spot a big gar that got stirred up.
It was legal back then.

Addendum:
Gar is good eatin' BTW. Taste a little like gator, but more tender.

You start the instructions for cleaning a gar with," First, get out the circular saw and make sure the blade is fresh."

Checked the rain gauge yesterday afternoon and had 3/4”.
Last night around 3 am got another heavy storm. Another 1/2” !
