You start the instructions for cleaning a gar with," First, get out the circular saw and make sure the blade is fresh."
    HA!
    Love fresh grilled gar!
But, I'm originally from machete country.
We cut down mesquites with our machetes. Nothing comes out of the water stronger than a mesquite or a sharp machete, not even a gar or a gator.

    Morn'n all.

Had another round of rain lastnight. Hopefully it'll dry out enough to mow before the next round forecasted for later today.
Those of you doing the raindance must not be doing it right. You new more practice.
    Hey, Bc.

Some time between the threatening clouds yesterday, Daughter did her mowing chore, even after her day at work was done. It was her turn.

She needed help pull starting. I've tried to teach her how to get the thing on a compression stroke but she's not there yet. So she wears herself down jerking on the thing.
I did not pull; just instructed.
I usually get it going on first pull.

Still proud of her work ethic.

I don't have one of those pull start mowers anymore. Thank God all I have to do is turn a key, sit down, and steer. I highly recommend you check one out for yourself (and your daughter). They're fantastic.

I tend to agree in principle, but our new property is so small now, I can not justify a larger mower.
