I think I'm going to close the living room curtains today and probably keep them closed all week. Our big picture window lets in a lot of light and heats up the living room.

We put a film on out large windows. It worked according to the thermal imagery.
Gila? Film from lowes/ home depot.

So with the heat coming I am thinking of not cutting the grass. It's nice and tall and green.

I am thinking in the next 3 days or so I may be the only house around here with green grass :-D

Went to Kroger and picked up a cherry pie to take to Susan's dad. Having a leftover cheeseburger for lunch.

Went to church and had lunch at hacienda. Looked like people were waiting outside at the place I wanted to go to.

Watered flower garden in the front. That might be the end of,outdoor activities for today.

Same here.
A mow wouldn't hurt, but if we're getting nothing but a burn down coming from the sky for a week or more, I would prefer to allow the part I would cut anyway to burn down first.

picked bag of peas. Too many to just eat, so I need to blanch and freeze/
should get several bags.

I'll get more out of the garden when I retire. Barb apparently can't be bothered to harvest the bounty that I plant. My peas are going wanting.
