I'll get more out of the garden when I retire. Barb apparently can't be bothered to harvest the bounty that I plant. My peas are going wanting.
We both know peas can sneak up on you once the plants get going.

Picking every day is not unusual, peas and beans both.
    Okra, too.
Basically the entire garden needs a daily run through.

Yup. So I'm away at least 5 days a week and have to mow and catch up the honey do list when I'm home. 6 day weeks for about the next month.

    Hello all!:wavey:

I have a pretty busy day lined up tomorrow.
Putting lighted post caps on a deck, building and installing a mailbox post with new mailbox, fixing leaky lav, painting a post and shed doors, installing a new yard light, and if time permits, finish mowing field. That will leave hanging new facia and some other odds and ends I can't remember. :faint:

Short week this week. We're off for Juneteenth on Wednesday, and Friday is my regular day off, although I may end up working at least part of the day. Gonna be too hot to do much else, so might as well. We start testing our next quarterly release on the following Monday.

I don't mind the hot nearly as much as cold. I'm out in the hot sun all summer doing various projects, but I rarely go out in the winter, to even shovel.
I can handle the heat to a point. I mean, I'll still work out on the deck when it's in the 90's, but I've got the ceiling fan and a pedestal pan pointed at me. Being out in the sun and doing physical labor though, not so much.

There are only two things I dislike about being physical in the sun.

1- sweating in my eyes. That :poop: burns like nothing else.
2- getting burnt. It's ok after the initial burn, since I don't burn after that, but that first round isn't pleasant.
