I have the same pair. They're great especially living by the river. Keen is the brand IIRC.
Yep. I'm on my second year with the ones I'm wearing. I have a new backup pair in my closet that I haven't worn yet. I had sticker shock when I bought the first pair (probably the most I've ever spent on a pair of shoes :): ), but they've proven to be worth it. I was lucky to get one season out of the cheapos.

They're kinda pricey but like you said they're well worth it. I'm going on year 6 on this pair. I also have a pair of their work boots. Best pair of work boots I've had and I used to wear Red Wings religiously.

    I definitely overloaded my tumbler.
I could tell at first by the sound, but I felt it would be fine. Not so.

I pulled a bunch of the rifle brass out.
    Now it sounds right.

I have learned to balk less at shoe prices.

Clinically, docs warn that feet are the most often neglected parts of the body. We should do better for our feet.

Engineers know everything has to start on a solid foundation.
I try to balance both and that means expensive shoes.
