A glock "POP" that's hard to imagine.

I investigated one from our village idiot with a Beretta 92D DAO (yes a 13 pound DAO) said he didn’t pull the trigger. Like that was his one sentence memo didn’t even try to say he started to drop it and tried catching it. Was downloading it and it went off…….theough the center console of the trip van and through the wall exiting out the fender!

He was proposed a 10 day suspension and removed from armed trips and elected to retire. Good riddance!

I know an over watch shooter that was watching an apt building across the road from where he was working on a State Dept contract with a bolt rifle.
He had the loudest click he has ever heard and shot a person a few blocks away. Luckily he didn't kill them.
And with that he was done in that industry.

A fellow LEO at a department outside Memphis had a AD with a backup 380 in his squad car. It dented a fire extinguisher.

We just so happened to be qualifying a couple weeks later and they put him on a certain lane. When the targets turned they had a picture of that same fire extinguisher on his B27. We all missed our time limit on that first stage we were laughing so hard.

They made him shoot the whole course with the picture in his.

Cop humor in the early 1990’s!
