BUTLER, Penn. – Former President Trump leaped to the defense of a female Secret Service agent who "shielded" him during an assassination attempt, after she faced blistering online criticism.

"I don’t know how they didn’t get hit," Trump told thousands at a St. Cloud, Minnesota, rally on Saturday as he recalled how "bullets were flying" and the security detail had rushed to shield his body.

"Every one of them – there wasn’t one that was slow. A woman who was on my right, she was shielding me," he said. "Beautiful person – she was shielding me, everything she could. And she got crushed. And she got criticized by the fake news because she wasn’t tall enough."

Trump said that the unidentified female agent was "so brave" and "wanted to take a bullet" for the 45th president.

"Well, you know, she wasn’t tall enough. Because I’m tall, and she wasn’t tall enough. And she was criticized – she was so brave, she was shielding me with everything, she wanted to take a bullet, because the bullets were flying. Incredible."

I don't blame her. She jumped right in there without hesitation and did her job trying to protect President Trump. It was the other couple of doofus females, especially the one that couldn't even holster her firearm who were jumping around doing a hut-hut pretending like they were doing something.

Is he talking about the blonde or agent Pat?

The one who shielded him on stage. He has his right arm around her. She has the little hair bun. She did as good as she could. She was not one of the ones that had no idea what they were doing.
She was right there in the thick of it. She performed admirably. Agent Pat was a pretender. It looks to me like Agent Pat got the most **** online and she deserved it. Agent pat acted more like, "I ain't taking a bullet for this guy." Plus she looked incompetent out there.

It's not bumbling agent Pat in the picture I posted. It's a different SS agent who was the only female agent that looked competent IMO who Trump was referring to. She was the one that was shielding Trump while escorting him off the stage. not Pat.

I caught wind of the shooting not long after it happened so I found a live stream and watched. They kept showing the shooting and I thought the blonde did a good job. I didn't really notice Agent Pat until they put Trump in the limo. that's when Agent Pat infamously displayed her holstering skills. So I went back and looked for her when the shooting started. Yeah, she wasn't about to take a bullet for Trump.

Many of the other search engines use google to get results. Not sure which but hav read that many do. They offer the google results without the tracking of google.
That's my understanding of Duck duck go. They're closer to a search aggregator. They take the search results from various search engines, google and bing, for example, and apply their own rankings to the results. I don't know if they still do that but they used to.

I think the one that was shielding Trump got a bit of criticism for being too short but nevertheless as you say she performed the duty that she was tasked with and trained for admirably without hesitation and uncertainty which Trump acknowledged and praised her for. "Agent" Pat was just going thru the motions like an inept poser.

Gunman at Trump Rally Was Often a Step Ahead of the Secret Service

Text messages, obtained exclusively by The Times, indicate that some law enforcement officers were aware of Thomas Crooks earlier than previously known. And he was aware of them.

The NY Times doing actual journalism?

I know this sounds cynical, but the number of shell casings on the roof... is the last sentence. Picture of the Officers on the roof, no link to the footage. Anybody hear of the casings on the roof matching the rounds fired?

The body-camera footage shows officers climbing a ladder to find Mr. Crooks lying dead on the roof: a slight man, wearing black sneakers, a T-shirt and cargo shorts. His backpack and rifle lay nearby. A long trail of blood ran from his body down to the roof’s gutter.
“Looks like, what, at least eight,” one of them says, counting shell casings around him. “One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. At least eight.”
