Another tid bit I heard today which further points to an inside job. This was Trumps last rally before he accepted the nomination. After accepting the nomination he would have better secret service detail as he would be the official nominee. So this was the last chance with a smaller SS detail, then dummy down the detail on top of that.

The AGR complex of buildings was NOT inside the USSS fenced off security perimeter through which you MUST pass through magnetometers, searches, and screening of everything being carried to enter. Doesn't matter who else was inside or around those AGR buildings, or was stationed inside one of the other buildings there. Law enforcement from USSS and PA State Police had to defeat and cut through the fence surrounding the USSS established security perimeter to get to the building Crooks was on. Those buildings belong to a private manufacturing company. You get into 5th Amendment Takings Clause legal issues if USSS takes them over, fences them off and controls access using armed force.

Including them would have required considerable coordination with AGR owners and significant compensation for "Taking" them, even if it was a week. AGR International makes glass containers among other products. Having been around "glass" production, you can't just turn off the manufacturing and turn it back on again like a light switch. There are extremely high temperature furnace processes involved that can take days to shut down and restart at considerable cost, with palpable risk to the manufacturing furnaces in particular. Even if the rest of a glass manufacturing plant isn't running, a furnace with molten glass in the furnace "pot" stays on 24/7.

One can cite how much patrolling there should have been to prevent nefarious use of them and that's legit.

Apparently most of the US secret service(all but around 8) that were there as the protection detail were in fact US Treasury agents(also part of the USSS), but not trained in protection details. It would explain some of the things we saw.
