You're my one stop gun shop right now LOL. I know my wife secretly hates you (for two reasons) :p

Every time I go to you guy's house I come back with another weapon.

I'm off to Cabelas in a little while - I want to see if they have any tuckable holsters. They show one on their website but its not the Crossbreed Supertuck. I'm old fashioned. I want to see if it fits before I go ahead and buy it.

I also don't fancy driving anywhere else today.

Anyone else have half a day off and is going up to Cabelas? I'l be there around 1:30 (1330) or 2pm (1400).

I was there around 12-1215 for lunch and a quick walk through. IMO just buy a crossbreed. I was hesitant at first, but ordered one blindly through their factory defect program a while back, and its great, I couldn't spot the defect. VERY comfortable, conceals well, and this is with a full size glock.

Eh. Too late. I found a nice tuckable holster at Cabelas. It's not designed for my gun specifically but it fits it nicely and it has a lot of retention.

If I get along with it I'll keep it, or if not I'll probably put it up for sale here. I don't think I could return it to the store in good conscience.

I know at my store there's very little we refuse to return because the number one goal is customer service, but each return that gets damaged out costs the store money and therefore I lose hours. I know its not quite the same at a huge store like Cabelas but you wouldn't think returning something that you opened once and used for a refund at a place like AZ would hurt, but it does.

Eh. My little mini-rant for the day.

Anyway - the experience of checking a gun in at Cabela's was interesting... Signed it in, got a trigger lock and something in the chamber, and I was escorted up the stairs and told I could go look at holsters, bring as many as I wanted up to the desk and the gun counter folks would let me try my own gun in them.

I know its all about safety and you can't trust anyone really, but eh. I didn't like not having possession of my "piece".

Poor Andy219 will be internet famous for the rest of time. I don't think he will EVER hear the end of this.

Its not Andy who was abused in a very dirrrty and disgusting way, it was just his gun that has been tainted by the taint that shall never be spoken aloud.
Now just because we can't speak about it, we can whisper behind his back, laugh in his face, and generally chortle aloud in public. . .

Unfortunately, I do think you are correct. My experience will be chatted about by gun enthusiasts on forums across the world, whispered about in dark hallways, alleys, corners of local gun shops and people will debate on whether its fiction or non-fiction for all time.

    Smh. :(

I'd say it's just bad timing that has launched him and his gun into internet infamy. Had he not been in your cigar shop when that creep was, he could still have a shot at a peaceful life.

Well changing topics, I bought one of these this afternoon. Its a 6' finish mower deck, I was looking for a 7' unit but those are all special order and I didn't want to wait a month.

I'll be in before 9am, but I'll be leaving about by 11:30am. I have to get home to accept the deliver of the mower deck that I bought today.
