Event Description
A Family Fun Day at the Shooting Range will take place on September 21, 2014 at Kingsbury Fish &Wildlife Area from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (local time) The event is free to all families
Space is limited, participants must pre-register.
Sponsoring Organizations: Galena National Wildlife Turkey Federation, Crossman Air Rifles and Deep River Bowman, Cabalas.
What to Expect: Participants will learn safe firearm handling and shooting using BB guns, 22 cal rifles and shotguns, muzzleloading demonstrations, trapping information and archery instruction with 3D target shooting. The event is free and door prizes will be given. There will be other demonstrations occurring throughout the day. Lunch is provided.

Hate to break it to ya, but this event at Kingsbury has been going on for quite a few years. At least 5 that I know of, so I guess WE are the copycats in trying to emulate them.

Thought about going south of 30 today to go shooting but the gas prices went up friday and I didn't get fueled up before then... They will of course drop tomorrow when the holiday has officially ended.... I might just have to not answer the phone tomorrow afterall....

The bigger part of the spike was due to the fire at the refinery. It should go away too soon.

I'm guessing a lot of you guys enjoy the Zombie stuff so thought I would throw this here... This was a demo reel we shot with GB model Lillian Grey as a news reporter, reporting the zombie infection hitting NW Indiana... She had the script for a half hour before we shot the skit... Enjoy...

Yes it is. Just south of Laporte. You drive thru where the old kingsbury ordinance plant used to be. Probably not as far as winamac is.
