    I grew up in the shadow of the Standard Oil refinery. Still have relatives up there, but now its BP Amoco. Sinclair Oil was up there too.



    On a different note, got my lawn tractor back from the repair shop about 10 days ago. Going back to the shop. WTF!?!

    We lived in the apartments just across the street (north) of Sportsmens bar.

    My grandfather, father & uncle built them. We lived in the north building on the 2nd floor. There is a cherry tree between the 2 buildings that my grandfather planted that I used to climb, I think its still growing there (was last time I looked).

    May parents still live on Atchison. I get to visit the old stomping grounds every now and then.

    My inlaws had the house right across the street to the south on the corner.
