btw this morning jedii was 'mama duck' as jedi plowed the sidewalks with the snowblower all the way to the high school and behind him jedi had 4 teenages who where walking to school.

EC Schools have closed. They were on 2 hour delay. Buses are now picking up any kids on the street and taking them back home and/or to community centers to stay warm.

Griffith schools just called. Buses are no longer working. If your devil did not get picked up s/he is excused from school. If your devil made it to school s/he has school.

That is their way of not having to do another snow day.

The commute this morning was horrible. I took the toll road and for most of lake county there were no lanes. We just played follow the leader and hoped the guy in front didn't drive off a bridge.

After the snowblowing festivities a few weeks ago, I finally broke down last week and ordered a pair of long johns from SportsmansGuide. I hope they come today!

You know, they sell those in stores. Then you could have them now.

QFT. And I've probably been to Walmart checking for ammo at least four times since then, and kept forgetting to pick some longjohns up. At least I have some decent boots now. I can wear some leggings under my pants if I have to.

The army surplus store on Summit in CP did have the poly long johns and they are warm for this weather. Not sure about the price, but they used to be around 50 dollars for top and bottom and you can pick up a Gunbunnies poster.
