Holy hell, it ain't pretty out there. I drove from CP to Merrillville Ace Hdw and got some oil, went to Family Express and got gas, and went to Aldi for half and half, potato chips, and bacon. Saw a Dodge Charger on chrome spoke dubs stuck in the oncoming lane on south Broadway.

I can't get out of my neighborhood, roads are a sheet of ice under 8 to 10 inches of snow. First time I have called off work. Stupid Jetta can't make it up the steep hill in my neighborhood. I should have gotten the VW Tiguan instead.

Should have gotten some winter tires.

My Escape is doing just fine in AWD, even with tires at minimum tread.

To me it looks beautiful out. I wish I had the day off, and Zeus was still alive. Looks like a day for a long hike.

Man, the roads down here are horrible! We just got back from a ride to check things out. I guess Demotte closed all roads except for emergency vehicles...sorry, didnt get the memo! My 4x4 didnt have any problems, but nasty none the less.
