Looking forward to setting the clocks back an hour tonight.

In other news, the new WINDOWS 7 computer for the Cigar Lounge was delivered, I've got to take that to the store and get it set up. I don't know if I remember how to transfer the data from an older to a newer computer. This could get ugly.

why not windows 8.1 the improvements on the patch were good.

Anybody want a WASR 10/63 underfolder cheap and now?

    how much

Did anybody else see the helicopter with searchlight and the cops swarming Munster area around 0600 yesterday morning? They were looking for someone, but no mention in the news of anything.

Was that related to the ammonia leak at the Pepsi plant? (Level 2 Hazmat spill)

Also, could be related to the red DHS helicopters doing training exercises in the Western Suburbs of Chicago on Friday?

So get this, there I am at work today, minding my own business, when 2 customers walk in with the only Colt 1911 I have ever wanted in my life, and they want to trade it to the store for an M&P40. It is a Colt Combat Commander in Brushed Nickel, chambered in get this 9mm. I did not want that to happen, now I have to buy it. But how many times does your dream 1911 that is no longer made, just walk into your life?

I'd like that in 260 Rem. with a barrel a couple inches longer to burn more powder for a bit more velocity.

260 rem would be sweet, but I know I am not gonna shoot 1000 yards all that often. But we did take one of these savage rifles to a 1000 yard rage, and were hitting a 24inch steel plate, so I know the gun is capable of 1000 yards. Especially with handloads. I think she is gonna be a sweetheart of a shooter.

Well today I was playing with my 700 and had a blast, but I did also shoot a friends Savage 20 inch that I had shot before. She shoots great but last time she was stock and beat my shoulder pretty bad... this time around he had put a muzzle break on it and it sounded ten times louder but I almost didn't know I pulled the trigger as far as recoil... Very pleasant to shoot.... and tight groups.... Thinking on putting one of them breaks on my 700 and now not thinking badly about adding a 20 inch Savage to the collection...

Two foot steel plate does not equal "capable" at 1k.
