So I was at Blythe's yesterday and bought a Microtech Ultratech.

Went there originally to look at lever actions(damn you Mark)but stabby implements caught my eye.

I'll get you next time, Andrew. Still want to get a lever .44 ;)

Gunbunnies spoted at cabelas at 10am... he was too busy talking microchips on the phone to notice me through...

    :ingo:

I was up there at 1000 as well. Picked up my ship to store order and looked at hand cannons.

They've got pretty much every primer on the shelf too if anyone's hurting for primers.

.22 ammo but it aint cheap, though its priced right for the brand/model, not much higher than what I've paid before. Bought a brick of Aguila SSS for $65 which is $5 more than I paid last year, but $5 less than I paid for a brick shipped earlier this year.

THey've also got bricks of Aguila .22lr supervelocity lrn and hp I believe were $45/brick which is what they usually run.

Got a place to shoot? Might take you up on that.

I'm a recoil junkie. I've shot a .454 Ruger and LOVED it but would prefer a more common round. I've been keeping my eyes open for a used .44, 454, or .500 but nothing local has popped up at a reasonable price. I've seen a few come up here and there at Cablelas for about $100 more than I'd like to pay for a used gun.

I don't shoot often, maybe 5-6 times a year, so it's not like I'm looking to feed an expensive gun on a daily basis. But given my addicition to recoil, I want to find somehting that'll satisfy my cravings. My S&W 340 PD used to keep me happy but I can handle a full box of 357's through it and am looking to move to something more powerful. Ideally I'd like to find a gun that I can't handle shooting more than 25rds in a sitting. It doesn't need to be practical in any sense of the word, I'm only looking for something to shoot for fun. (when you define fun as punishing recoil induced pain that cuts your shooting day short)

I don't own shooting property. I divide my time between Blythe's in Valpo and Jasper Pulaski South of Wheatfield.

I was also looking ant the gun counter... I must not have ever met you to know your face because I was keeping an eye out for any other INGOers...

    Any federal bulk packs?

    Oh. :wrongdoor:
If it were you, no problem. I'm not messing with him though.

 Put some LEGO sets out and you might be able to distract him long enough. ;)
