Anyone know what's burning on the north side of Schererville/south Griffith area? Could see the black smoke from Menards and down 30, seemed about lined up n/s with Austin Ave but was still north of Menards.

I went through there about 2:30ish and it looked like a controlled burn SE of the oil field in the preserved area. Cline was filled with Brown soot by Timber Masters.

Actually yes, we carry those. We are a little low on the 1911 stuff right now, but plenty of APEX M&P parts for right now(they are a popular item), even different barrels.

How hard is it to put the Apex parts in a M&P .40c? What parts would I need and can I do it myself?

Radio guys. Is it possible to pick up East Chicago police feeds? It would be nice to hear what is going on when I am in that area, seeing that it seems like for the past 2 weeks I have been there quite often, and that will repeat this same time next month when I go back to finishing the route package I have. Gotta love working in the hood...

well, now that you have frog lube there.... Old Fashioned Silicone cloth? (for helping to wipe down the stainless and blued weapons). Maybe some range bags, besides just the plastic hard cases, but the ones you can dump ammo and firearms into, without them ripping apart.

Wow! ... my wife is an internet meme. Cruising through Facebook and found a link to an article on the Armed & Free FB page. Clicked on it and there's my better half. I took the pic a couple years ago and apparently it ended up all over the internet. So far, every place it has turned up looks like a pro-gun website. I should be collecting royalties.

It's here ... and here ... and here ... and here ... it's even on twitter. Someone even turned it into a motivational poster.

If they are using the photo without your consent, you could make a stink.

They would probably just remove it (there goes the cool factor).

If it doesn't bother you then forget about it. It would be more hassle than it's worth in the end over one photo.

Really? It took FD 4 hrs to respond. Like I said I past it about 2:30 on my way in from Highland and I saw absolutely no signs of any FD equipment. And it was smoking good then. Oh well! Thanks for the link.
