I just got a negative rep in iTrader here on INGO from a guy who didn't like my offer. My offer was nearly 40% over the MSRP. His asking price was nearly triple the MSRP. I made an offer. He negative rep'd me.

Hey guys, I am looking to sell my Mossberg 500.
Very Good Condition and only about 170 shells fired.

I just need help figuring out what it might be worth.

Here are some pictures.

Any opinions?
The pictures are a bit fuzzy because my phone camera sucks.

Is that a "mariner" version of the Moss 500?
The one with a chrome plates body?
Is the release button in the same place as a regular Moss 500?
Can a buttstock be fitted to this version?
The pics arenot that great. Try adding some more lighting to help the camera out.

Anyone a member of Michigan City Rifle club? Im curious about spouses, are they allowed any number of times or do they also have to pay? I've never been a member at a gun club before, so don't know if spouses are generally covered or not. It says guests can come twice per year, but doesn't say anything about spouses.

I thought about NPCCC, but only one 100 yard range, nothing closer, etc, plus with MCRC having the indoor range 24/7 access its extremely appealing to us.

IIRC they do have "family memberships" at MCRC.

I'd say $100. I'll do you a favor and give you $120 for it though.

The mods normally take a 'hands off' approach with the feedback, but if you didn't have a deal with the guy, he had no business leaving you feedback.

I have no clue why it looks dirty in the pics. It looks spotless in person O.o


I replaced the pics with ones with better lighting.
My phone sucks so I am not sure how much it helped.
I don't have any other camera to take pics with.

Honestly I don't really care.

I negative rep'ed him back and if I protest his "neg" then the mod's might also remove my counter "neg" rep. Personally I can live with what he wrote about me. My comment about him might be a bit more of an issue for him than his comment is about me. Too bad he didn't like my offer, he apparently likes to be a crybaby, but that is his problem, not mine.

My neg rep to him reads: "Seller asked nearly triple retail, my offer was 40% over MSRP, he neg rep'd me?"​

Its all public record. Spikes lowers are available for $99 from quite a few internet sources, many of which accepted back orders. The guy wanted $275 or $279 for a $99 lower. I offered $140. He got butthurt. Big deal.

Bought this highpoint 995 the other day as a rifle for my wife. Made some upgrades today. Not sure hoebi feel about this foregrip though.
