Hmm ... interesting. The guy that let me try his Crossbreed also owns a King Tuk. Must be something in the water.

The only reason I bought the King Tuk was because they had a model that holds a 'railed' 1911 and also has a cut out for a tactical/extended magazine release. That works better with a double stack 1911 than the standard CrossBreed holster that I also own. CrossBreed probably makes one in the same configuration but I was at Cabela's and saw the King Tuk, its proven to be a pretty good holster and it works with some of the wide body guns.

70 degrees out, and 93.9 is playing Christmas music. Maybe it is the end of the world.

Sure is! 12-21-2012. Come on end of the world. :rockwoot::rolleyes:

God hates religion (at least religion without obedience) ... says so himself. Amos 5:21-24

How did that work out for him?

They always forget the firefighters/EMTs. Oh well ...

Well the "christian god" can hate religion and that is all fine. I still don't know if she is true or even if I will meet her. So best to ensure I have tickets to all the "shows".

It would have worked out OK for Benny (from the Mummy) had he not gotten greedy.

Well I'm sure the "gods" don't like you firefighters/EMTs either. ;)

Pains me to say it but I have to agree with Jedi.

The VersaMax II is a much nicer holster, much better made holster, but it is less comfortable. Less comfortable means less likely to wear. Less likely to wear means going unarmed. Therefore the CrossBreed wins. :yesway:

:rockwoot::rockwoot::rockwoot::rockwoot:I might just have to put that quote in my sig! :rockwoot::rockwoot::rockwoot::rockwoot:

I hear ya. I have tried them both and the VMII easily wins for me ... so, it's a matter of opinion I suppose.

Also ... didn't Jedi's crossbreed break recently? I know someone's crossbreed broke recently ...

Your opinion has negative weight around here. Remember you are some St. John. ;)

BTW Jedi's crossbreed did not break recently. The hard plastic (kledex??) did develop a crack earlier this year when I fell and landed on top of the holster (no handgun at the time in it). I continued to use it until the crack spread all the way on the holster before sending it in for repair. Crossbreed set me a new one instead of repairing the original. :+1:

I did upgrade my crossbread from the plastic j hooks to the metals ones a few years back. I think I've had my crossbread for 6+ years now.

Like I said they are ugly but they work and that is all that matters to me.

Yeah me! I finished racking all the leaves and they are in nice piles in the front. Hopefully the wind comes and blows them on my neighboors yard.

Also got the xmass lights on the house.
    Come on snow!!!

Illustration of what it looks like when Jed "racks" his leaves. (Human subject used in place of leaves ... the leaves kept falling apart before the artist could finish the sketch.)

BTW, did any of the leaves talk?

Jedi, when you coming over to help with my lights?
Go to youtube type in Merrillville Christmas lights.m

Nice but that is too much work.
    I personally HATE Christmas.
    As a kid it was
    - be good or santa this or that
    - wear a stupid tie, dress cloths and take family pictures
    - be good or santa this or that
    - have to attend family holiday parties (chicago, NWI, and indy)
    - be good or santa this or that
    - sing in church
    - be good or santa this or that
    - hear the story about baby jesus for the 10th million time
    - still not end up getting anything from my santa list

As an adult its just more busy and crazy!
No I'm not scrooge but I prefer to be a hermit.
Besides even now when asked by my family what would I like and I give them ideas under $10 I still get :faint:

OK next topic since I'm getting all worked up over this one.
Lets just say if it was me and me alone I would skip this holiday all together.

Go play with your legos ... Jed.

Yep ... talking to my son on the phone right now. My daughter in law works at the mall. They are on lockdown. Not sure what is happening.

That would be Hobart PD ... though I imagine that would be a multi-agency response.
