I started my vacation today at noon and will get some time off until 1/3. I also gave my formal and final notice last week that I will be retiring on April 15th. I have pushed back the date twice, a total of nine months, but this time it's firm and I'm not looking back.

I also discovered today that Blythes has a mid day $5/$10 range special M-F. Maybe I'll take advantage of that in retirement.

For the first time in many months, I filled my gas tank today for less than $3/gallon ($2.88 at Meijer in Valpo). I'm sure FJB would be disappointed to hear this but let's hope it stays down and continues to drop.
