So far, we don't have any details. Let's give him some time to respond.

I've done plenty of shooting with all of you, I can't wait to train with you.

Id be interested in attending. I seen it is in Rochester, most likely Sand Burr, which is a great place with great people. Only problem is the town sucks. Last time I was there the hotel was like 80 a night, and was kinda meh. But there is a McDoonalds right next to the hotel, and that is a little nicer.

Wohoooo, I no longer have to chain my car to the tree before a storm. I traded in my K(illed) I(n) A(ction). Got a deal I couldn't pass up, so I didn't get heavy duty diesel pickup. Settled for an 08 Navigator.

In other news, I took my nephew to a few gun stores and ended up buying him a 12 Guage shot gun for his graduation present. I showed him how to take it down clean it and reassemble it then had him do several times. He got the break down and reassembley down pretty good. He still needs to practice, I told him next week I want to see him break it down and reassemble it in under a minute.

Next week we'll stop for ammo for it and head to the range for some practice.

Well, I survived my trip to the north woods and came home early because I ran out of money:( but still had a good time.
In a nutshell, Mackinac Island is a tourist trap. Even the historic fort is like $12 each to get in. Beyond that, I can buy fudge and t-shirts anywhere and if I'm not on that island I don't need to rent a bike. The ferry ride was kind of cool, but not $24 a head cool.
We went to two lighthouses in Mackinaw city, one of which is an operational private lighthouse. We got to go to the top of both of them. Fort Michilimackinac was really cool, full of authentic restorations of the 1700 era French fort and there is an active archeological dig on site. The ?actors? were really friendly and knoweldgable. One young lady we were talking to was using it as an internship for her graduate work.
After we left Mackinac, we went and spent a couple of hours at the soo locks. It is an awesome piece of engineering, but still a couple of hours is about all it's worth.
We then went to the Western U.P. to look at waterfalls and visit the Porcupine mountains State park and lake of the clouds.
Although it was predicted to rain every day the weather held off until the last day. We were looking at the waterfalls on the Presque Isle River when the sky turned very, very dark. We were down in the ravine so there was no wind, but the treetops were really swaying and the dead branches were really coming down. As we were running back to the car in the downpour Michelle almost ran into a deer that ran in front of her and then stopped.
I'll post a link to pictures later.
Oh, btw, I cc'ed the entire time.

I like Griffith Blythe's better than the Valpo one. I've noticed prices are higher in the Valpo one.

That is cause the one in Griffith is in the ghetto (ie. Northern Lake County) and has to compete with the street prices while the other one is in redneck land where them folks can't count.

I had to risk my life driving through the ghetto today. 80/94 was a mess, so I took indi down to 30.:eek:

And I was unarmed, since I was on my home from Chicago.
