I have bin thinking about buying a Sig p229 in 9mm but I really want to try one out first does anybody have one that I can try out or know where I can rent one. I would like to put a few hundred rounds thought it.

Although not exactly the same, I do have a Sig P228 in 9mm. Its the same that is issued out to some of our troops. Although I do not have anything other then standard sights on it for now.

Having been hospitalized several times at work, and being escorted out by security once, my gun would have been found.

If u r going to the next M&S I would like to try it out. As far as the 228 and 229 goes r the grips and trigger the same?

I'm getting that too. I am trying to find a used one for about two mouths now with no luck. I have never bought a new firearm only used and I don't want to start now.
