* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Plan on slippery road conditions. Total sleet and snow accumulations of up to one inch and ice accumulations of a light glaze are expected.

* WHERE...Portions of and northwest Indiana and east central and northeast Illinois.

* WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to 6 AM Friday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Temperatures will fall sharply, dropping below freezing by mid evening. This will result in untreated wet roadways and sidewalks freezing and becoming slippery. Also be prepared for reduced visibilities late this evening into overnight."

The worst combination is a wet night and a cold morning. It's a sign of bad things to come. This applies in a number of contexts.

Versions of this type of robbery happen all the time. More often at those security kiosk style gas stations in Chiraq and other high crime areas. They splash gas into the pay slot so it goes into the kiosk/onto the clerk and threaten to set it ablaze.
