Why??

I moved all my bills to paperless, digital format.
I jedi email and/or phone alerts when a charge or paymet is made, when its 10 days before payments are due, etc.

The only ones i have not been able to do yet is medical lab bills. So really the only mail left is junk. Ads and occassional an actual letter from someone.

I do miss getting important mail like i use to but this way my data which has been compromised several times already thanks to uncle sam is a bit "safe" since im monitoing it 24/7.

Thankfully we don't rely on NIPSCO for our electricity here. REMC is more reliable.

I will not go digital with NIPSCO after an employee attempted to steal $600 from my account. It took a month of me calling, complaining, and submitting photographic proof it was not my error.
I will also not go digital with some companies that want to charge a fee for transferring money electronically doubling or tripling the price of a stamp.
Then, there is actual mail.

LSS, one of the wife's impromptu Christmas presents was a robotic vacuum (1 day $300 off coupon). Our son has now gone from totally freaked out by it, to I can tolerate this thing and maybe kick it when Mom is not looking.
