So apparently the weather to the north is pretty nasty.

Down here in far western suburban Lowellabama we are watching a lighting storm to our north. I'm guessing its up near US30 based on the time delay between the lighting flashes and the audible rolling noise of the thunder.

Stay safe up there ... even if you are thugs, gang-bangers and ne're-do-'ells who deserve to be in prison chain-gangs.

We had some rain down here earlier. A little bit of hail, but it was very brief. Lightning stayed well north of here.

Got a Stanley Jump-Starter for Christmas! After I saw a guy help out another at a gas station by simply having one in his trunk, I decided it would be wise to get one.
Comes with compressor with a lit gauge, mounted rotatable LED light, USB port, & 12 V port w/ cable. Good for 2 jumps within the charging period. Has good reviews.
The bad: Manual says to recharge every 30 days, 11"x8 1/2"X 13", & 17lbs. I think I'll just plan making a routine of charging it the 1st of each month.

Update: I waited 2 months to see where the charge would be. Took it out of the truck and plugged it in. Wasn't even 3/4. empty!

CPA appointment after work today. Now that we have a dependent and all that legal/financial stuff, this should be educational.

I bet I'm not the only one who is waiting on the sun to come up to see what Mother Nature did last night.
