Hell I'm about as white-bread as you can get, from far south/hillbilly Lake Co and they even pulled me over once for a headlight issue.

See blue falcon it has nothing to do with the current "race" issue that they are getting hit for. SJ is RACIST against everyone who is not "there" kind PERIOD!

My son is selling Simple Qpons to help fund his summer camp for Boy Scout.



They are $20 and half goes to the scout toward summer camp.

I have done a bit of worh there over the years and haven't had any problems. I guess I can not be a victim no matter how hard I try.

I want to take a couple of minutes and update everyone on how LadyGhost is doing. In a word PISSED all dressed up and nowhere to go. We got to the hospital and they were getting her all prepped for surgery, but her blood sugar was 330. Those of you that are diabetic can understand that this is NOT good. The surgeon cancelled the surgery and we are going to be spending the weekend working on bringing it back under control. LadyGhost is going to be one unhappy camper this weekend with me as I only allow her low carb food to try and get her sugar under control so they can do the surgery on Tuesday. We won't know for sure if she is even having the surgery until Monday when she calls the surgeon and updates him as to how her sugars have been running.

That being said I want to publicly thank LoneHoosier for taking the time to come out and sit in the surgical waiting room with us. I know he could have been doing a hundred other things, but he chose to spend the time with us. That means a lot to us, problably more than you will ever know. The people that we have met on INGO have proved time and time again that Gun Owners are some of the nicest and most caring people around, and I am proud to call you folks my friends. I have gotten numerous PM's from people on here saying "if you need anything at all just let me know" and not all of them are people that I know outside of seeing them post on here. I wouldn't call them strangers, but rather unrealized friends.

LadyGhost has told me repeatedly that you 'guys' (and gals) are like nothing she has ever experienced growing up. I know she feels the same way when I say that there are quite a few people on here that I would not hesitate to trust with my life, and would do the very same thing for them. For that I say THANK YOU, even though it doesn't even begin to express how we feel.

We all know stress has a lot to do with high blood sugar. Hope it lowers quickly.

No she's not. That may be in her future, but at the present time she's not on it. And yes as has been pointed out. Stress as well as pain, and infection all contribute to high blood sugars. Right now we are working on getting it down so we can move forward with her surgery. And her recovery

It's 6:22 AM, just got home.
I-65 is atrocious!
Cars off the road, cars in the road, jackknifed semis, and police blocking parts of it.
Then, almost home safe, and the I-65 S to 61st W ramp is jacked up. 2 cars off the road in the grass, facing the wrong way.
1 car in the middle of the road, 90 degrees. She kept GUNNING THE DARN CAR, causing it to keep sliding. So I had to wait while someone tried to tell her not to stomp on the gas.
I slid probably 5 car lengths myself trying to stop for her.
Then at the stop light, someone went through with all 4 tires locked up, horn blaring, right through the light, probably 10 mph.

It is shear ice. And if you're in a good spot, ice will come up.
So take it easy.

No salt looks to be put down.
