Sunny & Warm? You got me diving for my phone to see what's been changed. I'm expecting one of the coolest days of the month today.

Well, looks like you're right. They moved today's high up from 72 to 73,.....the bastidges.

Yep, I pretty much did the same as you from 76 through 80. I don't remember a bar next door though. It was Sauzer's Waffle Shop. I think the watering hole was the Schererville Lounge back then.

    .
I think you were at a different Eddie’s, I was at 93rd and 41. I vaguely remember talk about him owning the station at 41/30 but he did not own it in 86, only the one. There was some crappy bar behind it where the fireplace store is (was?) now. Someone stole the hood ornament from his Chrysler cordoba and he wrecked it that same night. Said he used the ornament to line up the edge of the road when he was drunk, apparently he wasn’t kidding.

    How is Snap?
I was in the ER again this morning. Yesterday I started having sudden excruciating pain in my left leg below the knee. Couldn't sleep because it hurt my leg to touch the bed. ER doc took x-rays and did a doppler ultrasound to rule out a blood clot. Everything was negative, but the ultrasound did show a baker's cyst, which could have accounted for the pain. I see my orthopedic doctor tomorrow, so I'll ask him about it.

I had a Baker cyst once, I was really fairly young then, I'll guess 30. It was behind my left knee and I could not straighten my leg and it did hurt a lot. They put me in the hospital for days with wet heat on it 24/7 and it slooowly went away.

I had to look that up.
Hopefully if that's it, they can make it go away.
