My first 4 were back in 2 business days. My most recent one is coming up on 2 weeks.

This is starting to suck.
I have 2 pending. Submissions were 8/11 and 8/20.
I know that is no time at all historically. But I jumped in when they were whipping them through.

Hybrid 46m and SOS 22 both submitted on 4-28, fingerprint cards arrived on 5-9, both on individual. The SOS was approved on 8-28 and the 46m today (8-29). Since I have my E prints now I may make another purchase tomorrow when I pick them up from Andrew just to see if the next comes through any quicker.

No record by any means, but it still beats the hell out of the 390 days for my first can.

If it hits 30 days I'd be calling the ATF for an update. If that doesn't work, a call to your representative may work. Maybe two filings at once delays the background check process...? I've never had multiple forms submitted at the same time so I can't say. I've seen a few instances of folks calling for an update and an approval follows just a few days or less afterwards.

These random delays are strange but we are dealing with government processes and procedures so it isn't shocking to me that the occasional inconsistency comes up.

With growing up just outside of DC, I have many friends that work for different agencies inside of the Beltway. I can call them up and ask wtf is this taking so long????? They just laugh at me and then say, I'll stop by your moms and tell her what you really did the summer of 75.
