    Myself I havent found any. I don't mushroom hunt to be honest, but I do love to eat them. My father has found around a thousand and my uncle over three thousand. Check TribTown.com and they have a picture of a guy who found one larger than a can of soda.

    when i was 12 or 13, my dad found one yellow 11 inches tall, i'll have to find the pics he took of it and post up.

    Now that we have all this fresh rain, Im curious to see if more pop up in the coming days

    Went out this evening after work with my dad, and cousin. I found a little over 80, they both found atleast that. Ill try get some pics posted soon.

    Wish I could find some of those nice big yellow (or grey!) sponges! I hit a nice honey hole in Marion Co. today and picked about 275 spikes, so I can't be too sad I guess. Weighed out around 4.5 lbs. Didn't find much at all last year, so I am ok with my fortune:)

    Spikes and a couple grays

    I made it out with my dad for an hour or so in Hamilton Co. today and we found 50 or so spikes/pecker-heads/horsetails and four grays. The real trophies were the two grays that were not much larger than the eraser of a pencil. Not sure how I found them, but I marked them to go back tomorrow to let them grow up a bit.
