They have said repeatedly they are still in negotiations with multiple locations and cannot announce anything without harming those talks.

As soon as the deals are signed they will announce it.

I wouldn't be that surprised to learn that Magpul and the CO .gov reaches an agreement that changes their mind or that some event(s) take place in CO that gives Magpul room to reconsider.

On the other hand, it probably takes time to whipsaw communities against one another to find out who'll give them the sweetest deal to bring their jobs to town.

I'd say they've narrowed it down quite well, and quite quickly to be picking up and moving an entire company.

Its like pitting several car dealerships against one another to see who will drop their pants first to make the sale. People forget that its not like buying a house where you just need to find the right building (or land to build yours on). It involves tax incentives/abatements, and other goodies that will entice a company to decide where to drop anchor.
