Please summarize the information into a balance sheet and profit and loss statement. We BOTH know that isn't possible with the info provided. You are offering the sleeves out of your vest.

A $200k membership is nothing. It's the ongoing assessments that keep a club running. I'm very familiar with one club that was on the PGA tour. Corporate memberships and member assessments kept it running. Revenues associated with the tournament defrayed most, but not all of the costs. The PGA and the players did pretty well, however.

You'd be better off owning a McDonalds franchise than most golf clubs.

Income of $384 Million per FEC financial disclosure for 2014. Forbes pegs his NET WORTH at $4 billion (not the more than $10 B Trump has claimed).

And... most golf courses are not bucket list golf courses.

The number has no context and is meaningless. Lets see financial statements. I'll believe it when some nationally ranked CPA firm attests to his consolidated financial statements. He's a pathologic liar. I don't rely on anything he says.

"bucket list"? I don't know what that means. I'm familiar with Doral and that was a PGA course.

It's real estate. It is likely heavily leveraged. The fair market value of a single property might be well in excess of obligations, but I'm not sure the fair value of all of the properties would be. Golf isn't exactly a growth industry. "In the HOLE!" probably has multiple meanings here.

Here's another... his leaked 2005 taxes indicated he made $150 M and paid $38 M in taxes. His 1995 taxes showed a $916 M loss... which means he made at least $916 M in the 9 intervening tax years, else he would have had a loss carried forward in 2005.

(for the math impaired, that means he averaged at least $100 M in NET income for 1996-2004 tax years)

Depends on the metrics you use. I personally don't see the ability to leverage large amounts of money into larger amounts of money to be a metric I care much about. I also don't see the ability to leverage tv fame into political success to be a positive whether you are Trump/Ventura/Arnold/Franken, or anyone else.

I consider myself way ahead of Trump in a large number of metrics that actually matter to me. Things like honesty, marital fidelity, actually parenting my kids, how I treat people, etc. YMMV.

I think this encapsulates my view very well. More eloquently. (I normally would just say: BFD)

You know it might reflect better on you if you quit calling the President a "frigging idiot" and made your case....Kut and I agree that ANYONE who gets to be President of these United States is not an "idiot".....While I disagreed with Obama on many fronts I refused to doubt his intellect nor call him names...

There are good people on here that support Trump...I am not one of them..I mean I support Trump but I am not "good people".....

Just something you should consider...I disagree with Bernie Sanders but I would never call him a "frigging idiot" because that would reflect bad on me...Not Bernie...It would show that all I have is slurs and name calling....It would really reflect bad on me if I did that.....

All perfectly understandable and you make a good point with regards to name calling. However considering how I actually feel about this individual I find the name I choose to use as being fairly tame but it certainly by no means describes all of the things I find so distasteful and dangerous when it comes to an individual such as Trump. Thankfully I think he's a fairly rare bird.

I really don't think he's changed much since his fairly well documented past, he just been able to somehow take it to another level.A man who acted as his own press agent under an alias and be able to brag about himself using an assumed name. Someone who was able to con enough Banks assuring them he wouldn't also fund his casinos with junk bonds. It's week documented that no casino would have ever had been able to make enough revenue to pay off the loans and junk bonds he took out. To compound things approximately half his jackpot machines were unable to pass muster and when asked he said they were so hot they just blew up. They just blew up. The only reason, the only reason the banks didn't destroy him then was that they needed him to survive if there were any possibility they were going to get any money back. For some reason after his bankruptcy there weren't any banks willing to loan him any money. The reason his name is on so many properties is that he's so great at marketing that his name was something he could license. However he's never been that good as a manager. Never, never, never. The thing he's known for is coming into the boardroom and throwing a tantrum and forcing his staff to clean it up and make some sense of it. Not exactly the way you need to be if your looking to run a country.

Trump University sounds like yet another good reason to find this guy to be a dispicable individual. Reports show this to be nothing more than a scam and even worse he was somehow able to convince a number of gullible individuals to pay even more for even less. Granted if your gullible enough someone's bound to take advantage, but it appears Trump in this case knew what he was doing. He was not only able to run this scam but in most cases he was able to make a number of the investigations disapear. However since he settled which he supposedly never does we may never know all of the details. He used funds from his foundation donated by others to pay off personal debts or settlements. Etc. etc. etc.

it does appear that he and his extended families business isn't exactly suffering now that he's the President. It appears his weekend White House membership fees have doubled and his son in laws sister believes it's appropriate to use the President and her brothers position as senior White House advisor for financial gain.Etc. Etc. Etc.

He frequently traffics in conspiracy theories and lies. He frequently attacks the institutions that have made this country such a great democracy. He outrageous claims that he knows better than anyone and speaks as though he is the only one that has all the answers yet he doesn't even read and for the most part when he talks about most things he has no idea what he is talking about. He's wrong so frequently and clueless so often that his spin masters have invented terms like alternative facts.

His populist propaganda is so bad yet he's been somehow able to hook so many people. He's good at promising things that make people feel good but yet so many of these promises are either so outrageous like "Who's gonna pay for the wall" or not based on facts like "Stop and Frisk". This is the same loose canon who said maybe it's time Japan and South Korea have nukes. Oh, and NATO is obsolete. Heck, how about China and their currency manipulation thing. I guess that ended the day they awarded those patents He and his daughter had been seeking for years. Etc.. etc... etc.. etc.. etc..

Somehow tweeting even the most inappropriate tweeting has become acceptable. Too many examples and frankly I've probably forgotten so many of them. Etc. Etc. Etc.

I havent even covered all of it or even gotten to the latest Comey memo.

In my opinion Trump is a reality TV star who's ratings started to wane but still needed something to do. I wish he had found a less dangerous hobby and left our country be. We may have had problems but we certainly don't need Trump inventing and making more problems than what we already have.

He maybe rich but I don't admire him nor do I wish I had his money if I had to go about it the way he did. I would much rather be able to look myself in the mirror with a clear concious.

I know there's more but it's way too late and I did my best. I just know there's so much more.

Pretty fair question. If you have already answered this up stream I apologize as to go back and re-read this is just to time consuming and i want to keep Indiucky in high regard...:):

In the reality of this, with the media having a microscope up Trumps lower unit.....can this all be for real and them not slamming us daily with it. All of this would have been serious fuel for Billery....err...Hillary during her campaign and they would have used it like a hammer.

Nope. Not Clinton. Not Sanders. The leftward momentum had to be stopped. Even if we have to put up with a guy like Trump. But. The risk with that is that Trump will be so unpopular that a nutbag like Fauxahantus could actually be a contender. Or even worse! The Democratic Party has shown that they can't choose sane. Every chance they get to be sane, they choose bat****, moonbeam crazy.

I'll call out Trump for doing stupid ****, and I'll tell you, he's had a really bad week that stands out in a string of bad weeks. But Democrats can't nominate a person who is actually better. They're incapable. They booed Jim Web off the debate stage, for cryin' out loud.

If we continue this crazy social justice journey leftward to utopia, what Tim Pool describes is where we're headed.

The "leftward momentum" that had to be stopped, appears to have come at a very high price, one that very well may hurt conservative ideals in the long run. Many viewed Republicans as adults, but now, they've exposed that they have just as many wing nuts as the Democrats. Trump has completely tarnished the brand.

That's a problem, indeed. Republicans do bring a lot on themselves. But. A lot of the bad press that Republicans get is unearned. This #RESIST **** is nonsense. There is no actual large scale NATZI influence. Republicans aren't any more racist than Democrats. What you've heard on the Daily Show for the past several years has been just one-sided hyperbole. Republicans certainly have earned some of their reputation. But Democrats cannot legitimately claim that they are any better. They're actually far worse. Did you see the Utopia that Sweden has created? No thanks.

Why is it Democrat or Republicans always point to Republican or Democrat bad behavior or wrong deeds and use these as excuses for their bad behavior or misdeeds. Wrong is wrong period. But heck I would think at least a few would agree the current administration appears to be trying to set a new Guinness World Record in this regard.

Look I'm pissed. I'm pissed because it's my understanding that people are getting paid because they are obese. I mean I'm being told they're getting money because they are overweight. I'm currently driving on roads that aren't fit for a third world country. Now it seems it would be easy and understandable to correct the first issue. However considering they are currently expanding roads which can't be maintained in their current form the second willl take much much more money a great deal of planning to correct in the long term.

Someone needs to tell the current emperor he in fact is wearing no clothes and we demand the keys back to the kingdom so we can get along with getting serious and address these issues.
