Watching some comments on the news, one said that due to new rules made by the dems, something to do with filibusters, that it very unlikely a new justice will be approved under current administration.

RIP Justice Scalia - a great defender of the Constitution. My guess is since Obama is on a time clock he won't appoint a "liberal" candidate but will try and appoint a "moderate" that might get passed. The Republicans need to be vetting that selection hard because he/she might be a wolf in sheep's clothing and develop from a "moderate" into a full blown "liberal" and then we are screwed.
