New Saucony, got in a couple of miles & little if any foot pain. Felt good to sweat. Going to try it again tomorrow.

Did an interesting workout yesterday. Probably one of the longest CF workouts to date for me.

    100 cal row
    75 Thrusters(45 lb bar)
    50 push-ups
    75 overhead squats (45lb bar)
    100 cal row

I didn't think I could do it by I chipped away and got it done in 31:52.

it was 8:09 in my app but I basically did that today for 2k, so I'm guessing maybe 7:50 or so if I knew I was going to stop. I try to keep around 1:50/500 but today I aimed for 2:00 since it was so long

Holy crap that's fast. I did 8:40 the other night and I thought I was awesome.

    You ARE awesome!

i lied earlier, I rechecked app and it was 8:49. Today I got to 2k about 8:15 I think

    Wow 8:15? I about died at 8:40.

I also started the Wendler 5/3/1 this week. I am so weak. Since Christmas, I got lazy. I haven't worked out that much , and when people come over to visit the baby, they bring treats. So I have gotten way out of shape. And it's now t-shirt weather, so I have to get back into shape.

100 Shoulder taps was shoulder burn like I've never felt. Positive note, my not as fat body landed it's first 20" box jumps. 296 down to 280, long way to go, but going in right direction.

Tues in training I broke my nose against my partner's head. Where the cartilage and bone meet, the bridge, is nice and swollen/bruised. No bleeding, just sore. No reason to stop training but man, my whole face from my front teeth to the top of my nose is sore. I've broken my nose before but I've never felt the pain in my upper gum line. Breathing seems ok, a little stuffy from the swelling I think. Getting off the couch can be hazardous ;)

Lovemachine, you motivated me to try a 2k row. I got it in 7:47. May have been able to shave a second or two off that but I was absolutely dead at the end.

That was 1:02 faster than last year :rockwoot:

He is lean and strong. Also runs about a 6:15 mile so he has the lungs to make me jealous

today I did a mile in 8:52. My fastest one in quite a while.

Then it was 5 rounds of:

    25# plate OH x 1 min
    12 OH walking lunges
15 plate hold squats (arms locked out forward)
18 jump up and over plate (back and forth is one)

    took me 18:24

then I came home and did 30 mins of intervals with my wife. 20 90s rounds of running and rowing. We covered 6200m on the rower but it unplugged the treadmill so no idea how far we went there.
