    Today was "Chelsea"

    5-10-15
pull ups, push ups, squats every minute for 30 mins. Ugh.

i did 4-8-11 for 17 rounds. Basically did every 90 seconds then backed off to 2 mins. I did 68 pull ups which is awesome for me. Still not ready for Murph

I'm not ready for Murph either but I will scale so that I can at least be a part of it.

I'm down 8 pounds in two weeks so that is making pull ups easier

    Awesome Doc!
Yeah the easiest way to do more pull ups is to lose weight, not to get stronger.

I started doing pull ups with a backpack on more often (still at 27 pounds).
Then when I reach my limit I take it off and try to do a couple more.

Did the hero workout "Bull" on Saturday with the crew, that was awful and I even scaled the OHS down to 115#.

    Two rounds for time of:
    200 Double-unders
135 pound Overhead squat, 50 reps
    50 Pull-ups
    Run 1 mile

And now my gym programmed it for today as a partner workout....

That WOD does not look fun at all. Curious, what was your time?

tonight I got home a little early and did two miles at 5.5 on the treadmill. Slow but I did it.

How many pullups do you do at a time? They are hard enough with body weight. I don't like the idea of adding extra weight.

With no bag I can do 32 in a row.
With the bag I can only do a dozen in a row, then maybe 4 or 5 more once I take it off.

Nice. It has taken me about 10 months to go from barely getting one to being able to string together about 7-8. I have a long way to go! :)

I have gone from the heavy green band for assistance to the next to the lightest band(red) so I am improving. I think the green band would launch me over the rack!:):

The more you do the easier it gets.:yesway:
We all have a long way to go to reach our goals.
I would like to do 30 with the bag on, even 20 would be nice.

A little over 63 minutes. Definitely one of the more difficult workouts I've done. The last mile really sucked. If it hadn't been a hero workout, I doubt I would have finished it.

Started a new cycle today. This one is only 4 weeks and all about Murph prep. Ran 1200M, row 1500M and ran 1200M today. I'm most likely going to do the Mini-Murph or team up with someone.

I'm not ready for prime time yet!:)

Year to date through 4/30, I have done 81,000+ pushups and work outed out 117/120 days. I feel pretty good about what I have done so far. Need to work on the diet...
