Just finished my 7th crossfit workout, really liking it so far! Lots of scaling, but covered in sweat & sore every day. Diet is much cleaner, still needs work, but much better. Tough getting shown up by girls, but keep telling myself "Think about 6 months or a year from now", I'll be a sexy beast! J/K on sexy beast part, just want to be healthy & not a lard butt.
We just started meal prepping. It has helped me to have a predetermined portion and something to heat up quickly.
Do you have a treadmill? Walking for thirty minutes during a TV show is a good way to sneak in some cardio
Just did 17.1 RX, but just missed time cap. I'm not terribly disappointed since I'm a rookie at this.
No treadmill at home, but my workplace has a nice gym with just about any piece of equipment you can think of. How do you meal prep, just do a week at a time and freeze it?
Meal prep was a big deal for me. Having healthy food I can throw in a lunch box on the way out the door made not eating at restaurants much easier.

That workout was no joke. Made it through the first 4 rounds and then finished 17 of the dumbbell snatches in the last round before I hit the 20 minute time limit. Probably could have finished if I had another 5 minutes. I might have been able to finish in the 20 minutes if I had tried the scaled version instead of RX.
I am pretty happy with my 2017 thus far. I have done 38,000 push-ups (plus whatever was in my workouts for the day) and have worked out 53/55 days.
My goal is to cut another 6% points off my body fat.
How do you know exactly your body fat percentage?
I've just seen pictures to estimate your percentage based on what you look like.
My wife did women's scaled today for 17.1. 20# and 20" box step overs. Did it in 17:14. She's a beast
I was wondering too. Some gyms have a pod you can get in. Also some scales use an electrical current to estimate it. I'm curious.
