... I'd be amiss if I didn't give you something as a takeaway from this thread to chew on.

Why would anyone here listen to anything you say?

A brand new guy comes onto a forum only to post off topic agenda-driven "suggestions?"

Any tiny bit of new guy credibility you might have had has lost ground with every post you make. :dunno:

If anything, you have turned many away from your anti-meat agenda. :n00b:

You've heard from doctors... but you also said we can't trust the research... so which is it? Only trust the research that confirms your beliefs?
Like I said, "I've heard" and "I can't verify". That's more honesty than I've heard others claiming to be true on this forum, brother! Most people just share anecdotes on here, sometimes wild sounding ones, and I'm not judging, I just ask more questions to learn more.

@pablanu3 you keep avoiding certain questions. Like the issue of people getting sick from e-coli on lettuce, the nature of our teeth (incisors vs. molars), etc.. Why is that? Because they challenge your own beliefs (that you claim you don't really have)?

I rarely buy lettuce or tomatoes, so my bacon sammiches are lots and lots of bacon on toast with a bit of miracle whip. Works for me... :dunno:
I've heard a doctor say (in the spirit of Keto) to "hold the toast" in order to be healthier...so there's all kinds of crazy out there

I have to buy the lettuce, but I only eat BLTs when tomatoes are in season here in Indiana. The hothouse grown tomatoes in the grocery store have no flavor. They're just cold, wet, and slimy. :):

Good questions! It's actually BECAUSE of these same things that I learned 1) keep animals and unwashed human hands the hell away from your vegetables and 2) that we are omnivores, but primate omnivores (primates and omnivores in general rarely eat meat, yet we eat it daily, now, and have quite a bit to show for it, since we're not made to do that).

Nobody is advocating a "meat only" diet. The point is, we are made to eat it.
