Wow. Just to add to the chorus, thank you for your service and sacrifice. It is amazing how people can b**ch about small problems in their lives, but you seem to have a good attitude after such an injury. Definitely puts things in perspective.

Don't really know what to say :(

You are a warrior, sir. Keep that warior mindset as you fight the battle for recovery, don't let anything get you down. You've got lots of friends and family to lean on when you need to do so. Modern prosthetics are miraculous. If you feel down, remember that you'll be able to lead a good life. As unfortunate as this is, you are coming home to your girl!

I'm sorry this happened to you, and pray for a speedy recovery.

:wow: As I read that I kept hoping this was a joke and that I'd find the punchline. I'm very sorry to hear about your injury. It's good to see you have an upbeat attitude. Thank you for your service.

This guy refers to having his foot blown off "a little accident".

[Note to self - whatever you were going to complain about at work today, just sit down and STFU.]

Prayers for a speedy recovery, and a heartfelt THANK YOU for your service to this country.

I could only hope that if I were in the same situation as you that I would have an attitude and outlook half as good as yours. Thank you, sir, for the service that you have provided to us, and to the rest of this country. May God continue to watch over you and protect you.
