Maybe they will just put an unlimited time on NICS, like NFA transfers.

I've always heard that if you look for something hard enough, you generally find it.

It has been said on here many times before, but here it goes again. In the words of Rahm Emanuel:

You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. And what I mean by that [is] it's an opportunity to do things that you think you could not before. (Wall Street Journal, November 19, 2008)

Pres calls for doing a better job identifying and acting on early warning signs of gun violence. He says he's directing DOJ to work with local, state and Federal agencies and social media, "to detect mass shooters before they strike."

Sounds too much like Minority Report precog police

I mean, I get it. This isn't a bad thing, and should be done... as long as it doesn't cost any rights.

The mechanics of this are hard to figure. Does every purchase require a visit to a psychoanalyst, if so what's the criteria?

President voicing support (along with other GOP members) for red flag laws, which tend to be unconstitutional.

Ideally nothing actually comes out of it.

If anyone listened carefully, President Trump blamed the person with the finger on the trigger, and not the firearm itself. I was shocked, shocked I tell you!

If only we could have a lobbying organization that could educate our non-gun owning republicans that fall for the dem's anti-gun narratives.

    :dunno:
