Funny story. I'm a Methodist. Apparently at my church about 10 years ago, (5 years before my time there) a visitor showed up and sat down in a free spot.

Old codger wanders in 5 minutes before the service and walks to his seat to see the visitor sitting in it. Dude straight up pulls a Sheldon Cooper and says "You're in my seat." And then stood there staring at them until they moved.

Sorry, if you want YOUR seat, you need to get your butt in it earlier.

Luckily folks like that are gone. Today they shrug and go sit somewhere else.

It's been a while since I remember seeing that one brought out on INGO. It was pretty central to the whole ban on talking about religion back in the day.
