I will be interested in knowing how your USPSA classification percentages are changing with the intense dry practice.

A bunch of the high hit factors were adjusted recently.
I'm betting my percentage will go down even with all the practice.
The practice I'm doing the most of isn't really geared toward classifier skills other than transitions.
Mostly movement stuff and shot calling because I suck at it

Some progress being made. Shooting on the move was hot and cold today. Did not miss shooting on the move but have a number of deltas that needs to improve. As was pointed out by one sage I need to see the front sight faster on the draw. I hate it when he is right. But sometimes he is right. Called shots pretty well except for the one stage where I had two mikes and a no shoot. As I thought about it after the fact I was not watching the front sight during that stage. I wish I could say why.

I am so slow with my feet that it hurts to watch it.

Mowed grass, picked tomatos and changed the oil in the truck. Did not get around to dry practice before the beer got started. Hopefully before football practice tonight and early in the morning on Wednesday before the Carry Gun Match. Live fire all day Thursday with rifle pistol and shotgun.

    North of Notre Dame.
Long day inside the iron curtain on the other side of the lake.

I set up some sections of stage that I could work different types of shooting into and out of positions. Tried out different things just trying to get comfortable with it so that when it fits I can plug it in.

    Can't you Count?

Ran and shot the Carry gun match tonight. Pretty happy for the most part. I suffered my worst day at school so far this year. It was not that bad but the year had been pretty good. The match helped my attitude immensely. Plus I think I have missed Vivian.

Got stopped by a Putnam County deputy on the way home. I got off with a warning. Which I am very thankful for. He was absolutely professional and not one bit worried about the pistols on my belt.

I had a miss tonight while shooting on the move. I did not call the miss and was quite surprised by it. But it was not there. I also had a single delta. Overall I was ok with the performance. I was way slow on stage 7. I did not get a good grip on the pistol but shot all of the points. Full day of live fire tomorrow if I can get all of the gear into the truck.

Large amount of live fire today. Distance accuracy went very well. Shooting small poppers at 30 yards was better than average. Shooting small poppers at 18 yards went very well with both the carry gun and the Limited gun. Did about 100 rounds on tuxedo targets. Worked on getting into and out of positions at speed. Had many 1 to 1.10 second draws in arrays. Worked on the Bill Drill Speed. DF has generated a gear that will allow for a 2 second bill drill. I have never been able to do that before. I had a 1.97 today. I now have to be able to hit that speed on demand and not the trick will be keeping the shots all in the A zone. Progress is obvious and that is cool.

I had a Front sight forward to today at 7 yards with good hits in 2.12 seconds. Was very happy with that.

Did a lot of work. Had much more planned that I had time to do.

I missed the carry gun match due to a long over due dental procedure. The guy that removed my wisdom teeth should have done this at that time is what I'm told. I really hate dentists. One more to go probably in January.
    Feeling much better today.
    Limited gun
    1-9 from R and R while moving
    Starts and stops
    Starts and stops 2
    Moving starts and stops
    Outer limits
    Pendulum
    5 to go.
    Carry gun
    3x2
    Draws at 7
    Bill drills @7
    Draws @ 25
I dropped the par times on these not because I've made any progress but to try and make some.
The 3x2 and the alpha at 25 are within the realm of possibility. I'm so far off on the other two it almost seems ridiculous to keep trying.
