That's it for this bunker, it only has two rooms.
Looks like I dont have pics of the second room but they look the same.

I left this bunker and went back to the larger one I previously visited.

I wanted to check the mysterious tunnel.

It's a small space, maybe 40 inches tall. But I managed to get inside to snap a few pictures.

Once you cross the tunnel there is a brick shaft maybe 10 feet high and concrete ceiling.

    No ladder though. :dunno:

Amazing. Thanks for going the extra mile and going back. the marls on the wall make you wonder what really happened! I hope you have had a tetanus shot!

    I actually cut myself!

Not sure if it was inside the bunkers or while going through the thick vegetation. :dunno:

On my way back I stopped a beach to take a few more pictures.

I think that's about it for that trip.

Just a last bunker.Observation post on top of the cliff.

The entrance to this one is not open to the public and is very :shady:
There is a large command post underneath the surface (inside the cliff), a shelter, a network of tunnels and a few more rooms.

Those are super cool photos. I got a bit teary-eyed when I was looking at the one overlooking the beach.

I was thinking the same thing. May have been a MG42 right at that spot- great fields of fire. Tie it in with the next bunker..and the next...

    Amazing!

I believe this was an observation and shelter bunker with a flak position on the roof or next to it.
They did have MG42s but closer to the beach.Probably in torbouk type bunkers.

I have picture taken on the beach bellow that bunker.
You can see 30+ dead soldiers lying there next to smoking vehicles.

Well that would be Tobruk in English.

It's one of the smallest bunker made.
It either had a M42 or a mortar in them, sometimes even a tank turret (usually from enemy tanks).
