I dive in lots of murky lakes, have purchased a $800 underwater flashlight that I want to use, and have been recently certified as a "professional" diver. Who wants to buy my plane ticket?

    We're into something! :yesway:

It could be dangerous though, unexploded ordances and Nazi zombies are the two greatest threats we might encounter (well that and drowning while fighting Nazi zombies underwater I guess).

A documentary on the Atlantic Wall, Der Fuerher's attempt to build 15,000 bunkers to stave off allied invasion. Maybe Sylvain can spot some of his bunkers. At about the 17 minute point, it shows an escape tunnel of the type I talked about in my earlier post.

    I saw this documentary.
Not sure if some bunkers can still be discovered.I know that they sometimes found some unknown ones while digging to build new buildings but it is rare.:dunno:

I will update you if I found any new ones.I have a few clues about the location of some bomb shelters located in a wooded area close by but I have yet to actually find them.
I believe they are fully or partially bellow ground and even large structures are easy to miss with all the vegetation around them.

Well, this isn't a WWII bunker, but a WWI underground city.
Beneath the trenches: The secret world of the Great War revealed

Yeah many trenches led to undeground tunels with hospitals, kitchens much more.

I found a partially undergound bunker during a hike this morning.
No way to go inside but I thought I would still share some pictures with the INGO history lovers.

Looks like it was a coastal battery.

The concrete shell of the bunker is covered by a stone-like camouflage also made of concrete.

Also visible on top are hooks to hang camouflage nets.
