It is my hope that the expressions of vitriol on this thread keep some of you from kicking your dogs, beating your children and watching too much porn.

If I had to choose between Mittens or Obama I'd still end up choosing Obama. And Cpt. Nervous giving me negative rep for not sharing your opinion? Lmao. Honestly I really hope that an Independent candidate gets enough fame to be winnable, cause I would hate to put my rights in the hands of either major party.
I ain't fallin' fer that'n aggin.
He's just expressing disbelief that anybody could still vote for obayme in 2012 given his previous 4 year track record.
For the record, when obama first came on scene in 08 "I" liked his hope and changey message for about a week until I dug into his real opinions and background.
It was a hard thing to do as he was getting (and still is) cover in the media.
I think we don't define vitriol the same and we apparently don't have the same regard for reading comprehension. That last part was vitriol by the way. I have no animosity or bitterness for most people who voted for Obama. I just think pop culture is ill equipped to to have much independent thought.
So dislike for Obama is okay, but Romney deserves everyone's love.
In regards to Romney, I Wouldnt say I have too much vitriol for him (btw I love that word). He was honestly too conservative on certain matters, not to mention he had even supported certain acts of gun control. Looking back at his platform he was essentially a conservative Obama, they both had their healthcare branded under their names, they both werent friends of the nra either. So since they both were going to be problematic to the 2a I moved on to the next issue that I felt was important. Civil Rights/ equality, Obama was far more progressive in that regard and that kinda won me out. Also I call him Mittens because its, in my opinion, one of the best nick names to have been used on a candidate. I would try and do the multi-quote thing, but I'm still learning how to use the forum properly.

My candidate is the only candidate thats right, everyone else is wrong!
So, is Romney running now? I guess I should wait for a few more pages to generate and see what other news can come up.
I see the thread has been handily deflected from it's discussion of Democrats and Gun Control...I guess them not wanting to look in the mirror and all.
The Obama election mobilized the pro-2A forces, which helped to keep all other anti-2A forces at bay. The actual net effect of the Obama presidency has been more more Americans exercising their 2A rights than we have seen a generation.
In fact: Obama=more freedom for gun owners.
Would the same have been true for Romney? Would gun owners have recognized the threat he actually presented to our freedoms the way we did with Obama? I wonder...
Would the USA PATRIOT ACT have gotten through under Obama? Why is it "real conservatives" are blind to attacks on their liberty when they come from a Republican?
I'm looking forward to reading how these supposed single issue voters (2A) justify their vote for Hillary. This should be good.
