Italy's top soccer league - Serie A - is closing off the games for fans. The teams will play in empty stadia.

Five Serie A matches will be played behind closed doors this weekend - including Juventus' match at home to Inter Milan - because of coronavirus.

That Juventus-Inter Milan is a huge game.

A USian analog would be if the NFL played a weekend of games to empty stadia, including a game between the 1st and 2d place teams in their conference. (Technically Inter is 3rd on the table, but they've played 1 match less than Juventus.)

France reports first citizen to die from coronavirus as three new cases confirmed


A 60-year-old man has become the first French victim of the coronavirus in the country, the health ministry announced Wednesday.


The man died overnight after being rushed to a Paris hospital in serious condition on Tuesday evening, bringing the total death toll in the country to two, said the ministry's deputy head Jerome Salomon

The French ministry of health has ordered 40 millions of FFP2 (similar to US N95) masks.
You can't find any masks in stores so I'm not sure where they're buying them from.

Nice is the closest "big city" to Italy along the Mediterranean.

Homedepot on Lima Rd still had smaller packs of masks (and respirators) two nights ago. They also had general purpose Tyvek suits.

They are cured and left the hospital.

At first I heard they had no cures.
