So does it make me paranoid with quotes from the article like this?:

Which seems to suggest that the only tenable position for government officials is to tell people that there's nothing to see here and go on with your daily lives. I've already long suspected this would be the case in the event of a major asteroid strike, it just gives me pause to believe that this is the standard response to any public/mass catastrophe.

So to be a PUI they either came from China or treated someone who did.

Who had a fever.Who had a cough or shortness of breath.Which also probably included a ct-scan or x-ray by medical personnel.

Only doctors can send in information about PUI cases to the CDC.

42 states have doctors who have done so since early February,with an unknown number of actual cases(because that number is not reported).

Great Britain tested over 700 cases with RT-PCR test in a single day.

CDC has done 412 total publicly (because not even i believe they are that incompetent,they have to have tested more)in more than 2 months.

"Flu" and related deaths are spiking all over the USA with over 60% more deaths than compared to this time last year.With 41 Americans per 100,000 needing hospitalized so far(likely higher this week).

The complete lack of transparency from the CDC and our government reminds me exactly of China.Remember last week when they added 13,000+ covid-19 cases,that had been "fever patients".

Just disappointed in general with how this is being handled.How little anyone is doing to prepare the American people.

That does not even start on the economic risks,which will slam into us way faster than the mortgage crisis of 2008 and with MUCH worse consequences as unemployment will skyrocket without parts and raw materials from China.

and maybe a month,possibly two months we will hear the media spewing "No one could have seen this coming."
