    A relationship or a restoration?
It is first and foremost a relationship. Through this relationship there is a process of restoring of the image of God in us

I try to be as inclusive as possible.

But Relationship is the paradigm on which it all hangs.

God loves his people even though they (and we are harlots) and prostitute ourselves with other gods. He pursues his bride to the point of giving all for another, for all.

Only by relationship can we really begin to grasp the full nature of salvation. Its not endless dichotomies....its not faith or works, its all inclusive.

Thinking in dichotomies reduces salvation to a pursuit of minimalism.

Pursuing a relationship makes salvation truly a part of everyday life, not a date to be remembered, but a real desire to be pleasing today to the one who loves us.

I don't do this or that to gain favor. Is that why you give your wife a rose? You do it out of love. You give of yourself until there is nothing left to give. Kenosis. He emptied himself to become one of us that he might demonstrate his love for us that we in turn may realize what love is and enter into communion with him in the same way. And through this communion with him, we also commune with each other. We become the body of Christ.

    We enter relationship.
