    REALLY??? :n00b:

    WOW!!!

"going to carry wherever we feel like it regardless of the law."

You dont think THAT makes gun owners look bad at all?

Posting that on a public forum doesnt make all of us look bad?

Saying things like that affects EVERYBODY, im not talking about what you did but what you are saying here.
You say that gun owners dont care about gun laws at that is not making all of us look bad???

So what is the difference between you and criminals, gang menbers and convicted felons that carry illegally? NOTHING.
You do the same thing therefore make all gun owners look like those bad people.

Great job! Keep posting on INGO and maybe soon enough we will all lose our rights.

The difference is I have no intentions with my gun except defending myself. In Arizona, you dont need a license to carry. So what is the difference between a good guy with a gun and a bad guy with a gun? Nothing, according to you.

Then move to Arizona so you wont have to say that you have no problem breaking the law.
We are not talking about Arizona here.
If you think it's fine for you to break gun laws then you think it's fine for criminals to do the same I guess.

Do what you think is the best for you but dont make all of us look bad.

I dont think there should be law for any of them to break. I believe in constitutional carry. I dont think it should be illegal for anybody to own a gun, because while trying to enforce the law that prohibits certain people from buying a gun, I feel it only complicates the process for the honest citizen, and in the end, the bad guys will get a gun one way or another.

Most people on here would generally agree with the above statement. The issue here is the overwelming disregard for the law in your actions. There are many positive ways to promote your way of thinking and beliefs to try to encourage change in the legal system. None of those positive ways involve breaking a known law and bragging about it over the internet.

@ the OP. You have repeatedly stated in this thread that you carry everywhere but at work. Why not there? If it is because of your employers no guns policy, then why do you risk your life to follow their policy?

A few questions for the OP...

Given your stated opinion of licensing laws, is your LTCH a lifetime? If not, when does it expire and will you renew?

I guess I dont then. I have an Indiana LTCH, even though I think it is ridiculous that is required, simply because I live here, I carry here, and I dont need to be harassed for exercising my 2nd amendment right on a daily basis.

As quoted above, you got licensed here to avoid hassle. Can you explain what your plan was if you were to be 'hassled' in Cincy? I think we all agree that you gotta do what you gotta do in a SD scenario, but you haven't explained what your actions would be in a LEO encounter. Keep in mind Ohio requires you to inform if a LEO asks if you're carrying.

Just to clarify. A LEO does'nt even need to ask. You are required by law to inform the LEO upon any interaction. Also you are not allowed to even touch a firearm in any way in the presence of a LEO. There was a case of a person in Ohio that was pulled over and he did what he was required to do and informed the officer but then when he reached in his glovebox to get his registration he took the pistol out and set it on the dash to retrieve the registration and he was arrested. My point is that you just can't go blindly into another state with total disregard or knowledge of their laws in the name of "just haveing alittle fun" that is the irresponsible part, and btw I believe that the OP stated that him and his buddy visited a few bars while in Cincy which at this point it is still illegal to carry in any establishment that serves alcohol. I say at this point because I believe they just passed a new bill to lift that prohibition but it still has'nt taken effect.

    Where's the bacon?
The thread is re-opened after discussion. The management of INGO are in agreement that the OP knows well what he did and that he admitted to a illegal act. While neither we, nor from appearances, INGO members, agree with the wisdom of his act or his admission, he has the right to behave stupidly and admit to whatever crime for which he wishes to be arrested.

If a prosecutor wishes to use his posts against him in some way, those posts will be here. I am hopeful that the OP will remain within the law henceforth, and I wish him good luck in the future. He may well need it.

    Blessings,
    Bill

I don't carry a firearm to remain a "proper person" in the eyes of our corrupted government. I carry a firearm to protect myself from anyone wishing to do me harm. The Second Amendment clearly says that our government shall not infringe on our right to keep and bear arms. Anyone who locks up a man for simply defending himself is morally wrong, and will have to answer for it one day.

The law won't save you from a criminal, but a well-oiled sidearm might. Carry on.
