Capacity is all about the federal money, if the feds poured an order of magnitude greater cash into these places they would shut up. With an election year coming up, and illegals voting, leadership is going to have to spend large.

Note that the guy had already been arrested a couple weeks before for hitting a woman in he head (odds it was his wife?), was released, and failed to show up for his hearing on that matter.

A long history of aliens serving in the military and it has produced some outstanding soldiers, like Larry Thorne.

That said, I don't feel comfortable with this latest move. This country has never had a military organizations like the macoutes, that work directly for leadership. Here, you swear an oath to an idea, law, concept that is represented by a document, the US constitution.

I am detecting little loyalty to anyone but themselves and possibly connections to family back home, nor is it really possible to divine where their ideological loyalties may lay (see: middle eastern migrants and asylees claiming they want to be governed by sharia law and the pro-palestine street demonstrations in EU countries)

I just see a 'plan' to make the numbers without a single care about damage to security or the possibilities of hostile infiltration

The best and only viable policy is closed borders. Stay out. Period. If they weren’t willing to fix their own country, what can they do for ours?
